conclusion
During my independent lab I experiment whether the apple oxidation occurs faster in water or lemon. My hypothesis was proven by my experiment results. The apple I the lemon juice didn’t oxidize because it had more vitamins and an antioxidant that reduce the percentage of the apple becoming brown. Also the apple in the lemon juice has an acid that reduces the pH of the apple and makes oxidation difficult to happen. Some recommendation I will do for next time is also put a plate with salty water because that is anther product that helps the apple preventing it from getting oxidize. My research helps me understand a lot better why this happen on apples and also made me found a solution so the apple doesn’t become brown. Finally, throughout this lab my hypothesis has supported by my results and it was proven too.
